I don’t know about you, but when I saw “Dillon”, I thought of Dylan McKay (James-Dean wannabe) from the original series, Beverley Hills 90210. (It was very popular when I was in elementary school.)
Of course, he would never be caught wearing this shade. Too bad for him because Zoya Dillon from the Awaken Collection is all kinds of awesome!
This seafoam green is soft and has a seaside feel that makes me think of mermaids and sea glass.
It’s a very pretty addition to any nail-polish collection, and the finish is very pretty – it has a subtle sheen that I find to be very calming, like the ebb and flow of the ocean.

Zoya Dillon Review
Although the lighting makes Dillon by Zoya look a little blue, it’s actually a seafoam green in person. It’s very soft, and it really reminds me of the warmer months, but especially when the sun’s beating down. (I think it’s because of the delicate golden shimmer that creates an almost sun-kissed look.)
This is a shimmery polish, and it has a gorgeous silvery/golden sheen to it that looks a little metallic-like from a distance. When you look at your nails up close, you can see each piece of shimmer, which I think is neat!
Application & Formula
As with many of Zoya’s nail polish, Dillon by Zoya applies evenly and easily for a beautiful finish.
I found that with just 2 coats, I got a uniform look. Two coats is typically what I paint, and it’s only if the coverage isn’t enough that I continue to paint additional layers.
Final Verdict: 9.5/10
Zoya has done it again with another awesome nail polish! I just love how they put out such a wide variety of colours instead of sticking to ‘safe’ shades. That’s why I’m always excited to hear about new Zoya nail-polish releases. You just never know what they’ll put out, which is only half the fun!
Are you a fan of seafoam green? Do you prefer to wear full-on metallic shades or softer ones like this that have a subtle metallic sheen? Do you have an all-time favourite Zoya nail polish?
