Attention all ghouls and goblins!
There’s a new Hallowe’en nail-polish collection hitting stores this October – the China Glaze Monsters Ball Collection!
Hallowe’en is my favourite holiday, so I’m always excited to see what comes out when the weather gets cooler and when fun costumes make their way to grocery-store aisles.
The other day, I was at Shoppers Drug Mart and saw their new Hallowe’en display. They had a toy clown in a cage where you could press a button to activate it. I did so, and even though I expected something shocking, I didn’t expect what happened, so I jumped!
I was never into clowns. Having seen Stephen King’s movie, It, when I was way too young may have affected me.
Haha, and this toy clown had a high-pitched voice that was loud and abrupt. Plus the toy lunged forward and stuck its head through the soft cage bars!
If you swing by Shoppers, go check it out. But make sure that your heart can take it, first!
Going back to the China Glaze Monsters Ball Collection, I like how there are lots of fun glitters included. Howl You Doin’ and Bat My Eyes really speak to me!
I’m also really pleased to see that China Glaze collaborated with and gave visible credit to Abigail Larson, the illustrator. If you don’t know why this is particularly important, do a little Googling about what happened last Hallowe’en. You’ll understand why it’s a big deal.
There are 6 shades in the China Glaze Monsters Ball Collection:
