Green nail polish is one of my favorites, and I’m pleased to see that more are being released into mainstream collections.
I’ve never tried BB Couture nail polish before but had heard a lot about how perfect the formula is.
And when I took a look at their website, I was impressed that they offered so many different hues including some of the most greens available.
BB Couture Frontier Woman was one that caught my eye. Popped my BB Couture cherry with it, and now there’s no turning back – I’m officially hooked.
Now it’s show and tell time! Are you ready for this?

BB Couture Frontier Woman Review
Frontier Woman by BB Couture is a marshmallowy green that’s soft yet vibrant at the same time. It’s not crazy and in-your-face, so it’s good for those who maybe aren’t yet comfortable with wearing this non-traditional color.
But it’s still interesting for fellow green fans because of the light-green micro-shimmer that really brings the color to life and gives it more depth. The shimmer isn’t flashy at all. It just takes away any flatness that a creme color might have.
Formula & Application
BB Couture Frontier Woman went on flawlessly and smoothly. I was really impressed also by how it provided opaque coverage with just one thick coat. (I used two, though, out of habit.)
I didn’t get any bubbling, patchy spots, or cuticle drag. It went on beautifully and easily. I felt as though I didn’t have to be super careful with how I applied it, and it would still look great. And I appreciated how it dried fairly quickly.
This polish is supposed to have a special 4-in-1 formula that contains a base coat, top coat, nail strengthener, and of course, color. But I still used my Nail Tek Foundation II Base Coat and Seche Vite Dry Fast Top Coat.
While this is said to have a high-gloss finish, I didn’t see it. It doesn’t dry matte, so you don’t necessarily require a top coat (even though you should really always wear one). But if you want it to be so shiny that it’s like looking at glass, use a good top coat.
Those who are trying to avoid certain bad chemicals in their nail polish will be pleased to know that Frontier Woman by BB Couture For Nails doesn’t have any toluene, formaldehyde, or DBP.

Final Verdict: 8/10
This is a pretty green that I enjoyed wearing for about a week. And I totally recommend you try the BB Couture formula because it applies so easily and effortlessly.
